ALS Programs & Solutions
Alladin Learning Solutions designs and implements bespoke ECD and early education programmes across different provinces in South Africa.
NQF 4 ECD Practitioner Training
ALS is a SETA-accredited training provider (ETDP 011 288) and has historically qualified ECD practitioners through the Level 4 Further Education and Training Certificate in ECD (SAQA ID: 58761) under ETDP SETA. In line with the national shift in skills development, ALS now offers the QCTO-accredited Level 4 Occupational Certificate: Early Childhood Development Practitioner (SAQA ID: 97542, 131 credits). This comprehensive qualification includes three integrated components: knowledge/theory modules, practical training, and structured workplace experience, equipping untrained practitioners with the competencies required to deliver quality early learning in diverse South African contexts.

CSR/CSI Initiatives
At ALS, we believe in the importance of corporate social responsibility and investment. We have proudly partnered with prominent corporates such as Growthpoint Properties, Industrial Development Corporation (IDC), and Isibindi Africa. Our commitment extends to positively contributing to skills development and education, all while maximizing potential tax deductions for our partners. Together, we can make a meaningful impact in disadvantaged communities.

ECD Practitioner Mentorship and Training
ALS has designed a focused, unaccredited ECD Practitioner short course that covers essential child development knowledge and classroom management strategies. The training is aligned to key methodologies such as learning through play and the National Curriculum Framework, ensuring relevance and practicality. It includes comprehensive mentoring, classroom observations, and structured feedback to support continuous improvement. This hands-on training is often complemented by ALS ECD Resource Packs, which equip centres with materials tailored to support all areas of child development — physical, cognitive, linguistic, and socio-emotional.

Early Years Resource Packs
ALS Resource Packs form an integral part of all our programs, supporting the effective transfer of training into real-life classroom environments. Designed to align with the CAPS curriculum for Foundation Phase and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for ECD, these resources help educators implement learning through play methodologies with confidence and impact.
Each Foundation Phase Resource Pack includes 10–15 low-cost, locally made Mathematics or EFAL resources, to support interactive learning. Our ECD Resource Packs provide a wide range of tools to stimulate cognitive, physical, social, and linguistic development in young children. By pairing these materials with targeted training and mentoring, ALS ensures that educators are not only equipped with the skills and knowledge, but also the tools and confidence to deliver quality, play-based learning experiences.
Parental Involvement Initiatives
ALS recognises the vital role of the home environment in reinforcing foundational learning. Our flagship parental involvement program, implemented in partnership with Anglo American South Africa (ASSA), reached over 1,400 households across four provinces and trained 138 parents in AASA mining communities. The program advocates for active parental engagement in both the home and school environments, strengthening the link between schools and households. By empowering parents with the tools, knowledge, resources and confidence to support early learning, we contribute directly to improving literacy and numeracy outcomes among young learners — creating a united approach to education from the classroom to the community at large.
